Meet Gina

Hi! I’m Gina Gallo, and I’m deeply passionate about supporting Seniors and their Family Caregivers. I have been involved in caregiving most of my life. I was raised by older parents.  And, the gap in age, accompanied by family health issues, had me step into caregiving earlier than most.  I navigated the complex world of caregiving through sheer experience and necessity.

With decades of hands-on experience, I’ve learned firsthand about the stress, guilt, and exhaustion that can accompany the caregiving role.  I know how overwhelming and lonely it can feel.  These were some of the most challenging times in my life, yet they shaped my commitment to offering guidance and support to others traveling this path.

Over the years, my experiences and training not only helped me survive but also thrive, receiving requests for advice from family and friends on their care journeys. Recognizing the need for more accessible support, I founded Sana Senior Solutions in memory of an exceptional caregiver, my mom. She spent her 22 years of marriage caring for my dad. That was my initial training ground. My final exam was caring for my mom long distance for the first years, and then caring for her in my home with my family for her final years.

And now, I’m on a mission to sustain meaningful lives for our Seniors to age well, with dignity and grace …while committing to reducing stress, and restoring quality self-care for their loved ones.

I see the strength and resilience of Seniors who strive to maintain their independence. I deeply understand the unique challenges, and rewards that come with caring for aging loved ones. I recognize the love, dedication, and sacrifices that Family Caregivers pour into their roles. I have witnessed firsthand how caregiving impacts all of our lives, and all of our relationships, …our careers, our families, our marriages, our loved ones, our friendships, and most of all our relationship with ourselves. These caregivers are truly unsung heroes! I also recall feelings of being lost and uncertain during the final stages of my mother’s life, and I pay tribute to that chapter of her life. This experience has deepened my commitment to supporting others through this profound journey. Together, we can honor the end of life transition with respect, dignity, and grace.
